To operate a forklift on a work site you must hold as a minimum the Occupational Safety and Health Operator certificate – OSH Operators Certificate. This certificate will expire 3 years after the date of issue. You must renew your certificate within 3 months of the expiry date or you will need to site the certificate again. This will incur additional cost.
It’s important to keep this certificate up to date if you are working with forklifts on your worksite.
If your certificate is coming up for renewal, AMS Group offers two convenient options; a 1 day refreshers training course or an online course option with a practical booked at a later date.
By completing this Forklift OSH Operators Refresher Course you will refresh you knowledge and practical skills including:
Demonstrating knowledge of safe forklift operation
Performing pre-operational inspections and start up procedures for a forklift
Demonstrating practical forklift skills.
Correctly park and shut down a forklift.
The Forklift OSH operators certificate requires renewal every 3 years. This means that the holder of the certificate must resit the theory and a practical assessment. These can be renewed before expiry and up to three months after expiry.
Proof of prior training required. If you are not a returning AMS Group customer. If this proof cannot be supplied you will be required to complete the full course. If you sat your Forklift OSH Operators Certificate with AMS Group, and you are not sure of its expiry date, but would like to check, please contact us.
A drivers licence is not a requirement for this forklift training course, but is recommended.
$140.00 + GST
You must have proof of a current OSH certificate to qualify for this special rate. See special notes above.
